19-3) Desert Mountain Patrol Reiteration

- Refresher course from the 40 hour orientation training on patrol duties specific to Desert Mountain to include ABDi Pulse functions, Medical Gear review, Patrolling, Administrative reports, New Jump packs, and traffic control
19-4) Emergency Communications / Response

- This class will prepare you to respond to a variety of emergency scenarios that may occur while on post topics include Preparation, Smoke Sightings and fire, medical emergencies, Severe Motor Vehicle accidents, Inclement weather / natural disasters, Snake Bites.

- An overview of gate area troubleshooting and reporting. This lesson will delve into the required steps in identification, documentation and notification utilizing the OfficerPulse and Milestone reporting systems.
19-6) Power DMS introduction

- An introduction into the Power Document Management system utilized by Fire, police, and now security.
19-7) De-Escalation Training

- An introduction into proper techniques and tools to prevent escalation and how to de-escalate using customer service, verbal techniques, non-verbal techniques, and de-escalation techniques
19-8) Seven Training
- Instructors: Major Konrad Raether
- This class is designed to train all current Desert Mountain staff on the Seven specific duties and protocols that differ from standard Desert Mountain gate procedures.
